Documentary on the Red Sox’ World Series run to premiere at Emerson Colonial Theatre
Major League Baseball on Monday is hosting the red carpet premiere for “The 2018 Word Series: Damage Done’’ at the Emerson Colonial Theatre. Produced by MLB Network, the documentary captures all the moments of the Red Sox’ dominating march toward the title.
Emmy Award-winning star and Medfield native Uzo Aduba, who narrates the 80-minute documentary, is the first woman to lend her voice to the MLB series.
Manager Alex Cora, team president Sam Kennedy, and president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski are scheduled to attend. More Red Sox personnel and alumni attending will be announced this week.
Fans can purchase tickets for the premiere online. Tickets start at $30. Red carpet arrivals begin at 6 p.m. The screening begins at 7 p.m.
The DVD goes on sale Dec. 4.
