The Red Sox confirmed that the World Series trophy riding along in the duck boat with Mookie Betts, who was reportedly bombarded by a constant onslaught on soaring beers, was slightly damaged after it was hit by a full, unopened can. The trophy could be seen after the incident with several of its 30 gold-plated flags bent out of shape.
Korey O’Brien, a producer for 7News, obtained and posted footage of the exact moment it was hit Wednesday afternoon.

“Not a big deal,” she said.
