The 2018 World Series banner is already hanging outside Fenway Park

The 2018 World Series banner was officially hung outside Fenway Park this morning, accounting for the Red Sox’ ninth win at the Fall Classic.

The red banner was unfurled just a few hours after the Red Sox clinched the Series in Game 5 at Dodger Stadium. While the city awaits the team’s return, the streets flooded with fans celebrating throughout the night.

The red banner replaces the blue American League Championship one and is the Sox’ fourth Championship in 15 years.
