Eduardo Nunez had some fun on Twitter prior to Game 4

He clarified that he's "all good and ready" for Saturday's showdown.

As busy as he was on the field in Game 3 Friday, Eduardo Nunez was almost as active on Twitter the following day.

He tweeted three times in less than 20 minutes prior to Game 4, referencing a few of the recurring themes that have popped up in the past 24 hours.

In his first tweet, he jokingly declared that he has a new Halloween costume – a full-body cast – after sacrificing his body the previous night.

The next tweet was a reference to the Los Angeles Dodgers twitter account suggesting that the Red Sox’ damage is done this postseason. There has been enough trolling to occupy the inner dwellings of a bridge during the playoffs, and this was the latest example. Clearly, it didn’t sit well with Nunez, who took umbrage with the insinuation, while also finding it humorous.

His third and final tweet (at least presumably) referenced the iconic photo of Boston Police officer Steve Horgan’s hoisting his hands in the air. Much like Steve Pearce did in Game 4 against the Astros, Nunez ended up with his legs high above the rest of his body after tumbling out of play in pursuit of a ball.

Nunez clarified that he’s “all good and ready,” and he’s in the starting lineup Saturday night.
