Several familiar (and famous) faces were spotted at Fenway for Game 1 of the World Series
See anyone you know?
Among the 38,454 fans in the seats at Fenway Park Tuesday night for Game 1 of the World Series were a slew of recognizable people there to support the Red Sox as they battled it out against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Marlborough-born Bill Simmons, founder of sports and pop culture website The Ringer, was spotted along the third-base line. Celtics assistant general manager Mike Zarren tweeted a photo from the outfield giving a shout-out to right fielder Mookie Betts for attending Boston’s game against the Orlando Magic Monday night. And former Boston College baseball player Pete Frates, who popularized the Ice Bucket Challenge in his fight against ALS, was in attendance with his brother, Andrew, and wife, Julie.

Musician Jack White, formerly of The White Stripes, was flagged in the stands during the FOX broadcast. White is actually a business partner of Red Sox second baseman Ian Kinsler. The pair invested in baseball bat company Warstic in 2016.
A few celebrities did rep Dodger blue in support of Boston’s opponent. Mixed martial artist and wrestler Ronda Rousey took a photo with Red Sox mascot Wally, who, despite the conflicting allegiances, tweeted that he “still [loves her].” Former Los Angeles Lakers All-Star Magic Johnson, president of basketball operations for the Lakers and co-owner of the Dodgers, was also spotted walking through Fenway.
Dodger blue @RondaRousey?! Say it ain’t so! 😉

Singer Jennifer Lopez and her boyfriend, former New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, were also at the game. Despite his turbulent history with the Red Sox, Rodriguez is now colleagues with former Sox designated hitter David Ortiz at FOX. Lopez previously visited Fenway in August, when Rodriguez was in the booth for a Red Sox-Yankees game.
