Steven Wright not included on Red Sox’ World Series roster
A knee injury kept him out of most of the postseason.
The Red Sox have set their roster for the World Series, and it does not include knuckleball pitcher Steven Wright but does include lefthander Drew Pomeranz.
Wright indicated he could be ready to pitch in the World Series after a knee injury kept him out of most of the American League Division Series and all of the American League Championship Series.
Relief pitcher Brandon Workman was also left off the World Series roster after being on the Red Sox roster for the ALCS.
