Watch Jackie Bradley Jr.’s superhuman catch at the wall
Even when he’s careening smack dab into a wall, Jackie Bradley Jr. makes it look easy.
The Red Sox center fielder made an incredible catch Friday night, leaping and crashing into the outfield wall at Angel Stadium to rob Yunel Escobar of extra bases in the first inning of Boston’s 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
Might as well give JBJ the Gold Glove already. #RedSox pic.twitter.com/vTapCOmbkp

After the game, JBJ told NESN’s Jahmai Webster exactly what was going through his mind when Escobar made contact.
“Off the bat, it was well hit,” Bradley Jr. said. “Head[ed] towards the gap, I believe he had two strikes on him, so I was playing him toward the opposite field a little bit. I took off, tried to gauge as much as I possibly can, tried to time up my steps to try to make a leap. […] I wanted to go for it.”
