Coming off a Home Run Derby title, Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is certainly no stranger to blasting pitches over the wall.

During the top of the eighth inning Sunday night, the league’s leader in long balls might have thought he just launched his 31st of the season, but Red Sox center-fielder Jackie Bradley Jr. was not about to let that happen.

After Judge had driven a throw from David Price all the way back into home-run territory, Bradley jumped against the side railing and had his glove in the right place at the right time to make a remarkable — and possibly game-saving — grab in front of his team’s bull pen. Fans, as well as Price, went nuts. With a runner on first, Judge’s homer would have narrowed the Yankee’s deficit to 3-2.

“A lot of different things need to go the right way, you just need to be far enough over the wall, but short enough so you can grab it,” Bradley said after the game.
