David Ortiz shows us what his ‘Life’ after baseball is like

In February, David Ortiz showed us his “spring training” for 2017: sunbathing on the beach in Miami. In March, Big Papi’s retirement doesn’t seem quite so laid-back.
In a spoof trailer for the upcoming sci-fi movie, Life, which was posted on Twitter, Ortiz can be seen eating cheese puffs and lounging in a recliner. A group aboard the International Space Station closely analyzes the former DH’s behavior as “the first proof of life after baseball.” However, things quickly turn hostile once the crew decides to wake him from his “deep state.”

With hope for a possible comeback still alive, perhaps the video is a message for those considering disturbing Ortiz from his relaxation.
