WEDNESDAY’S WEATHER: It was another sunny day at Fenway South, with a few wind gusts, as the temperature hit 81.
FUNDAMENTALLY SPEAKING: One of the drill stations for the pitchers doesn’t involve anything more than standing around in a circle and listening to Triple A pitching coach Bob Kipper discuss strategies for controlling the running game. The idea is to keep the pitchers cognizant of the need to hold runners and be quick to the plate.
