Red Sox acquire relief pitcher from Brewers
The Red Sox have found the relief pitcher they needed, obtaining righthander Tyler Thornburg from the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. The trade involves multiple players and has not yet been announced.
Major league sources said that infielder Travis Shaw would be one of the players going to the Brewers along with Double A infielder Maurico Dubon and Single A righthander Josh Pennington.
