With the news breaking Tuesday that dominant left-handed pitcher Chris Sale will be calling Fenway Park home come 2017, here’s a look at his previous starts in Boston as a member of the visiting Chicago White Sox.

July 9, 2014: Sale made his first career start at Fenway in 2014, after previously making three appearances out of the bullpen. The Red Sox defeated the White Sox 5-4, but Sale pitched well, allowing four hits and one run and striking out six in 7.2 innings. Mookie Betts, who had been called up to the majors just over a week earlier, hit two doubles off of Sale.
