Dave Dombrowski entered the restaurant here at the Omni Hotel and I kidded him. “Did you lose anyone else since you’ve been here?”

“About three more,” the Red Sox president of baseball operations answered with a smile.

Seeing Mike Hazen and Torey Lovullo at the podium at Chase Field, as Lovullo was introduced as manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks at a morning press conference, made you wonder: Have the Red Sox lost too many good people in one offseason?
