We already know how the “grandma” of elite American gymnasts, Needham native Aly Raisman, feels about her own expiration date, but now she’s showing age-defying love for another legendary Bay Stater.

Raisman posted an Instagram on Tuesday sporting a shirt with the words “Retired Not Expired 2016,” in support of the David Ortiz Children’s Fund. In the caption, she wrote “Love ya @davidortiz I’m always your number one fan,” accompanied by the hashtag #DavidOrtizFund (plus two emojis for some signature Raisman pizzazz).

The limited edition t-shirt, which was designed by Ortiz’s daughter Alex, is available online through October 6. The proceeds will go towards Big Papi’s charity and, according to the website, “will give Papi the only retirement gift he wants—help for more kids!”
