Craig Kimbrel is a mischievous man

The Red Sox closer pranked starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez.

Beware the idle closer.

During the Red Sox’ 3-2 loss to the Orioles on Tuesday, Sox closer Craig Kimbrel snuck up behind Eduardo Rodriguez, and poured sunflower seeds into his hoodie.

The police officer in the bullpen appeared to enjoy the prank as much as Kimbrel.

Kimbrel followed the prank with an outstanding 1-2-3 ninth inning that included two strikeouts. The Sox offense, however, couldn’t get on the board in the ninth inning.
