Jackie Bradley Jr. among AL leaders in All-Star voting
Jackie Bradley Jr.’s hitting streak might have ended, but All-Star votes for the Red Sox outfielder are only increasing. In the latest of votes released by Major League Baseball on Tuesday afternoon, Bradley jumped into third place, meaning that he would be a starter in the “Midsummer Classic.”
The game, set for San Diego’s Petco Park on July 12, is currently set to have three Boston players in the starting lineup (including Bradley, Xander Bogaerts at shortstop and David Ortiz as the designated hitter).
