Jackie Bradley Jr. has a new honor to go along with all of those hits he’s been racking up. Riding a 21-game hitting streak, the Red Sox’ 26-year-old center fielder was named the American League Player of the Week on Monday.

Bradley went 15 for 32 at the plate in seven games from May 9 through May 15. He recorded two doubles, three home runs and 15 runs as the Red Sox posted a 6-1 record at Fenway Park during the week.

In 37 games this season, Bradley is batting .331 with nine doubles, four triples and six homers to go along with 30 runs batted in, good for fourth in the American League.
