On a second-inning single by the Athletics’ Chris Coghlan with Billy Butler on second base, Bradley fielded the base hit and unloaded a cannon throw to catcher Ryan Hannigan.

Though Bradley’s throw was a few feet to the first-base side of the plate, it was so early that Hannigan had time to dive back in front of the plate and tag out the sliding Butler.

The good night, however, did not end there for Bradley.

In the fifth inning, he hit a single to extend his career-high hit streak to 16 games, which is currently the longest active streak in the league.
