Pablo Sandoval booed during pregame introductions at the Red Sox home opener
Things went from bad to worse for Panda.
Things are not getting any easier for Pablo Sandoval. Two weeks after getting beat out for the starting third baseman job by Travis Shaw and two days after his belt exploded swinging at a knuckleball from Blue Jays pitcher R.A. Dickey, Panda was booed by some of the Fenway faithful during pregame introductions prior to the team’s home opener on Monday.

Red Sox announcer Joe Castiglione did his best not to prolong Panda’s misery.
Castiglione wasted no time cutting into boos as Sandoval got introduced. Long pause for Ortiz cheering though.

Sandoval, who is 0-6 in three games this season, is on the bench to start the game.
