Red Sox season opener vs. Indians postponed until Tuesday
The Red Sox will have to wait another day for the 2016 season to commence.
Boston’s Opening Day matchup against the Cleveland Indians on Monday was postponed until 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, the team announced on Monday at roughly 2:30 p.m.
Today’s #OpeningDay game has been postponed until tomorrow at 1:10pm ET.

It was snowing during the early afternoon, but there was no precipitation at the time of cancellation. The weather was set to be cold and windy for the entire day.
