Tim Wakefield will now welcome the winner of tonight’s overnight stay at Fenway Park via an Airbnb contest after original host Curt Schilling’s came under fire for a questionable tweet last week.

The lodging company condemned the tweet in question – which compared Muslim extremists and Nazis overlaid over a picture of Adolf Hitler – as inconsistent with its values.

“Mr. Schilling’s comments are wholly inconsistent with our community’s values and we have ended our partnership with him, effective immediately,’’ the statement read. “Our partnership with the Red Sox and our Night At Fenway Park event will move forward as planned.’’
