Alejandro De Aza will join his third team this season. The Boston Red Sox traded the outfielder and cash to the San Francisco Giants for minor league pitching prospect Luis Ysla.

The left-handed Ysla will play as a reliever with High-A Salem. With the San Francisco High-A affiliate in San Jose, the 23-year-old posted a 3-6 record with a 6.21 ERA in 22 games and nine starts.

In De Aza’s 60 games with the Red Sox, he had a .292 batting average with 4 home runs and 25 RBI. He came to the Red Sox by trade in June.

The Sox made a number of additional moves as part of September call-ups, recalling pitchers Ryan Cook, Noe Ramirez. They also promoted outfielder and first baseman Allen Craig and catcher Sandy Leon to the active major league roster. All four players will be active for the Red Sox Tuesday’s matchup against the New York Yankees..
