Watch Mookie Betts get an inside-the-park, ‘little league’ home run

The White Sox learned not to dawdle while Mookie Betts is rounding bases.

Betts hit an RBI double in the top of the third inning in the Red Sox’s 5-4 loss to Chicago on Tuesday night. As Josh Rutledge scored from first base for the Red Sox, Betts ran through second and saw that catcher Geovany Soto couldn’t corral left fielder Melky Cabrera’s throw to home. Betts turned it up, speeding home and beating Soto to the plate.

Betts finished the game 2 for 4 with an RBI and two runs. The Red Sox play the White Sox in the third and final game of the series on Wednesday at 8:10 p.m.
