Red Sox utility man Brock Holt looks elated to be in Cincinnati — he’s got that first-time All-Star glow. And while he’s the only Red Sox player in attendance, he looks right at home.
American League manager Ned Yost selected Holt as a reserve on his squad. Following the Sox’s series with the Yankees, Holt told reporters that he was going to do his best to make the most of his weekend and soak up the experience. It appears he’s doing just that.
On the way to Cincinnati, his wife posted a photo of herself and Holt in transit.

Holt will start on the AL team’s bench but could see action later in the game.
