Watch the greatest Red Sox moments in All-Star Game history

Ted Williams crosses the plate after belting his walk-off homer in 1941. AP

It was the bottom of the ninth. The American League trailed, 5-4, with runners on the corners and the best hitter who ever lived up to bat. Then Ted Williams did what he does best, driving one into the right field grandstands.

So begins MLB.com’s compilation of the best moments in Red Sox All-Star Game history, which runs from Williams’ 1941 walk-off (and 1999 first pitch) through both Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz going yard in the 2004 game. Even 2008 All-Star MVP J.D. Drew (2-for-4, BB, SB, HR, 2 RBI) makes an appearance in the three-minute video.

Ted Williams may not be walking through that door, but at least we have our memories – and video, thanks to MLB.com.
