Study: Red Sox fans are better spellers than Yankees fans

Grammarly released data on which MLB fanbases are the best and worst at spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Red Sox fans ranked 11th worst out of 30 teams, but Yankees fans are even worse.

The automated proofreading company ranked fan bases based on how many grammar, punctuation, and spelling mistakes are made per 100 words. Red Sox fans make 9.3 mistakes and Yankees fans make 12.1 mistakes.

Mets fans are the worst fans in baseball when it comes to grammar, punctuation, and spelling, making 13.9 mistakes per 100 words. Indians fans are the best, making just 3.6 mistakes per 100 words.
