Mariners manager Lloyd McClendon got his money’s worth with ejection

If you think baseball is boring, you’ve never watched Seattle Mariners skipper Lloyd McClendon manage.

McClendon flipped out during Tuesday night’s M’s game against the Yankees and he made sure three of the four umpires working the contest knew it. The fun started when Seattle catcher Mike Zunino got run by first base ump Will Little after giving a little guff over a check-swing appeal. It was the second appeal that went against the Mariners in as many innings, and McClendon clearly had had enough.
