The Red Sox announced on Monday afternoon that their game against the Minnesota Twins at Fenway Park, scheduled for 7:10 p.m., has been postponed, citing wet ground, as well as heavy rain and low temperatures in the forecast.

The game will be made up as part of a split-admission, day-night doubleheader on Wednesday, with the first game starting at 1:35 p.m. Tickets to Monday’s game will be good for admission to the 1:35 p.m. game, with the Fenway gates expected to open at 12:05 p.m.

The Red Sox expect Tuesday’s 7:10 p.m. contest to be played as scheduled.
