In baseball, there are few things worse than an opponent hitting a home run in your home stadium. Thus, fans have adopted the usually proud tradition of throwing the ball back onto the field.

When Toronto’s Edwin Encarnacion hit a home run into her left field box at the Yankees’ home opener Monday afternoon, one New York fan decided to chuck it back. The ball didn’t get very far.
