Former Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester on the notion of getting a pizza with former minor league teammate, and newly signed Red Sox free agent, Hanley Ramirez during their time together in the farm system:
“I’d have a better chance of being struck by lightning than me and him getting a pizza together,’’ Lester told the USA Today during the 2010 All Star Game. “You can take that for what it’s worth. But there was no chance on God’s green earth that I was getting a pizza with him.’’
