Former MLB outfielder Jose Canseco made headlines last month when news came out that he had accidentally shot off his finger at his Las Vegas home.

Fast forward to Friday, where Canseco’s digits came back to the forefront, as the outfielder Tweeted that the reattached finger fell off while he was playing poker, describing the event in the following fashion.

He then got back on Twitter on Saturday to continue with updates, including the following photo of the finger before it fell off.

So Canseco seems to be in a better mood, judging by his Twitter play-by-play, and appears to be at peace missing the digit that helped him to the 1988 AL MVP award and, as he mentioned, 462 career home runs.
