Red Sox Place Mike Napoli on DL

The Red Sox placed first baseman Mike Napoli on the DL Sunday with a finger sprain. The move is retroactive to Saturday. Brandon Workman will take Napoli’s place on the roster.

Napoli is of course out of the lineup Sunday, but David Ortiz is back in as the Sox try to halt their losing streak before it reaches double digits.
