World Series tickets
A limited number of tickets for Games 1, 2, 6 and 7 of the 2008 World Series, should it come to Fenway Park this season, will be available for purchase while supplies last and by telephone only beginning at 3 p.m. Friday.
Fans who registered and were selected in the random online drawing for the opportunity to purchase tickets for the World Series will be notified via e-mail today.
A limited number of tickets will be sold via touch-tone telephone at (617) 482-4SOX beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct.10th. Fans with disabilities may call (877) RED-SOX9 beginning at noon Friday to purchase accessible seating while supplies last. The Red Sox’ TTY number is (617) 226-6644.
No tickets will be sold at the Fenway Park ticket office.
There will be a one-game, two-ticket purchase limit per customer. Ticket prices for the World Series, as established within the parameters set forth by Major League Baseball, are $250 for field box and loge box seats, $225 for pavilion box and right field box, $175 for grandstand seats, $100 for bleacher seats and $50 for standing room. All orders will include an $10 per ticket and $15 per ticket transaction fee.
The home schedule for the American League in the World Series will be as follows: Game 1 (Wednesday, Oct. 22), Game 2 (Thursday, Oct. 23) and, if necessary, Game 6 (Wednesday, Oct.29) and Game 7 (Thursday, Oct.30).
