Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez was awarded the 2007 American League MVP award today, the third such honor in his career.

David Ortiz finished fourth in the voting, behind Rodriguez, Detroit’s Magglio Ordonez, and L.A.’s Vladimir Guererro.
