Members of Tony Conigliaro’s family were on hand for the dedication of Fenway’s new “Conigliaro’s Corner,” a section of high-school-like metallic bleachers that sit atop the right field roof box sets. Admittedly, while the seats look dreadfully uncomfortable, particularly on a chilly day like today, the view is quite nice.

As Red Sox CEO Larry Lucchino called the honor, named for the former Red Sox slugger, “appropriate,” a bomb squad team inspected the underside of the new addition.

Just ran into Red Sox principal owner John Henry coming off the elevator at the EMC Club level. Fans should be filtering into the ballpark shortly
