Wasted chance
The Yankees put the first two men on in the fourth, but failed to score. With runners on first and second and no outs, Alex Rodriguez grounded to the left side of the infield. Mike Lowell gobbled the ball up, neglecting to tag lead runner Derek Jeter, instead going for the sure thing DP.
Robinson Cano ended up grounding out to end the inning and keep the game scoreless.
