Myers does job
With a runner on first and one out in the seventh, Yankees relief pitcher Mike Myers got David Ortiz to strike out.
Since his big-three run homer off Myers on May 1, in the first meeting of the season for these two teams, Ortiz has gone just 1 for 8 off his former teammate with two strikeouts.
This is the primary reason the Yankees signed Myers, and after a rocky start, it seems to be working out well for them.
