Doubled up
Robinson Cano got the Yankees’ first hit of the game with a ground ball just out of the reach of second baseman Mark Loretta. As Wily Mo Pena jogged in from deep right field to retrieve the ball, Cano raced all the way to second for a one-out double. He was stranded though after Craig Wilson flew out and Bernie Williams grounded out to second.
