Seven-up
We’re tied at 7 here as the Sox ran off a pair of runs in the fourth inning to match New York’s two in the top of the inning, another RBI single by Manny Ramirez for Boston’s seventh in what is certainly a back-and-forth affair.
We’ve played four in just over two hours. Red Sox-Yankees baseball.
As scary as Lester’s line was, Sidney Ponson’s wasn’t much better: Three innings, nine hits, seven runs (six earned). Yuck.
