Boston Red Sox

Kickoff time

Unreal. Derek Jeter’s bases-loaded double has silenced the Fenway crowd, as the Yankees have re-taken the lead, 14-10, with a seven-run seventh.

That ends the line on Hansen: 1/3 of an inning, three runs. You know his and Lester’s outings are going to result in more than a few people whispering, “Um, Roy Oswalt? Hello?” come morning. Which, come to think of it, is only 11 minutes away.

Some empty seats have started to show up at the Fens. Ugly. And who thought it might be worse than the day game?

The fans booed the Sox as they came off the field, then booed louder when Billy Ray Cyrus appeared to sing “God Bless America.”
