Changes for the Sox
With the Red Sox opening up a 10-1 lead on the Mets, Willie Harris has replaced Manny Ramirez in left field and Gabe Kapler has come in to play right for Trot Nixon.
Meanwhile, Josh Beckett, who was overlooked coming into this game thanks to Pedro’s return has been outstanding. The righty has allowed just three hits and one run (a homer off the bat of Carlos Delgado), and seems to be a lock for his 10th win of the season.
Of course, as I type that, Jose Valentin just knocked one into the seats. So, I’ll stop there then, OK?
