Center field shot
For the second night in a row, Manny Ramirez took an 0-2 pitch and deposited it deep into the center field bleachers. With runners on first and third in the bottom of the seventh, Ramirez took Scott Proctor’s offering and knocked it deep to dead-center, in a no-doubter, to cut the Yankees’ lead to 7-4.
Mike Myers came on in relief to face Trot Nixon and promptly walked him. In comes Kyle Farnsworth.
