A Boston Marathon runner will learn he’s going to be a dad again at the finish line
Thanks to his wife's creative signage.
One runner will complete the Boston Marathon on Monday moments after learning he’s going to become a dad for the third time.

Boston Globe reporter Matt Stout tweeted a photo of Cassi Delatorre, 24, who’s stationed near the finish line and ready to announce her pregnancy to her husband, Xavier. Delatorre is decked out in a poncho and holding a handmade sign that reads, “A new little runner is approaching the finish line / December 2018.”
“I’ve been telling him: ‘After Boston we’ll try for another,'” Delatorre, of New Mexico, told Stout. “I wanted to make the big announcement here.”
