I was born and raised in Colorado, but my dad hails from the North Shore, where my grandparents still live. For years, I wanted to qualify for this special race in this amazing city so that my grandparents could be a part of my accomplishment. Their encouragement and support has gotten me through almost every challenge I have faced in life, including qualifying and training for this race!
