11 times the Boston Marathon reminded us runners are superheroes
When one of the world’s largest marathons is in your backyard, it can be easy to forget how crazy running 26.2 miles really is.
What was once a feat for elite athletes alone is now within reach for the superhuman among us.
Here’s 11 times when we were reminded how amazing Boston Marathon runners are, and how little our own running shoes have been worn.
1. Getting out of the house on time on a Monday became less of an accomplishment.
