Mom shows off her Boston Marathon baby
Baby Lyla ran this year’s marathon in utero with mom Diana.

There were 26,598 runners who finished the Boston Marathon this year. Turns out, there were a few stowaways along for the run, too.
Runner and mom Diana Duncan of California shared a photo on the Boston Marathon’s official Facebook page Friday of her new baby Lyla, born Oct. 1, swaddled in mom’s blue and yellow finisher’s medal.
Duncan said she was four months pregnant when she finished the race on April 20.
Boston Athletic Organizaton organizers had a challenge for baby Lyla for when she turns 18.
