Don’t Worry, Meb Keflezighi’s Kids Did Their Homework Before Watching Dad Run the Marathon

The young daughters of 2014 Boston Marathon winner Meb Keflezighi had some business to handle before watching their dad defend his crown.

Yep: The girls got up early with their dad to knock out some homework before leaving to watch the Boston Marathon.

Keflezighi has been documenting his training for this year’s race diligently through social media, and released a book several weeks ago, Meb for Mortals, which gave the everyman tips on how to train for a marathon.

While the Keflezighi kids continue to toil away at their math homework, their dad isn’t the only returning champ hoping to claim a winner’s title at today’s race—Paralympian and past winner Tatyana McFadden is also taking to the pavement today.
