Boston Marathon Runner Reunited With Lost Wedding Ring
An Austin, Texas runner has been reunited with his wedding ring, which slipped off his finger near mile 23 of the Boston Marathon, according to The Boston Globe.
Jeff Glaser told The Globe he knew the ring came off as he was taking off his rain-soaked gloves. Despite stopping to look for the ring, Glaser still managed to break 3 hours and 15 minutes.
At about 1:15 p.m., the race’s medical coordinator announcer, John Anderson, announced that a runner had turned in a found ring. Glaser said he saw news reports of the discovery and knew it probably was his.
