Boston Globe: Carjacking Victim Describes His Life One Year After Tsarnaev Encounter

In the weeks after the Boston Marathon bombings and the manhunt for bombing suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, The Boston Globe printed an exclusive interview with “Danny,’’ the man who the Tsarnaev’s allegedly held hostage for hours after carjacking him on Brighton Avenue.

Now one year later, Danny spoke to the Globe again. The carjacking victim – who eventually escaped when Tamerlan put his gun down for a moment – has revealed his face but continues to keep his name anonymous as he tries to restore normalcy to his life.
