Watch the postgame interaction (or lack thereof) between Jayson Tatum and Steve Kerr

Kerr briefly waited for Tatum initially, then ultimately walked off without saying hello.

Shortly after the Celtics dismantled the Warriors, 125-85, on Monday, superstars Jayson Tatum and Stephen Curry shared a moment near mid-court.

As they chatted, Warriors coach Steve Kerr briefly hovered nearby to see how long the conversation would last. When it continued for perhaps longer than he expected, Kerr decided to take off without acknowledging Tatum.

Here’s a look at the interaction, as captured by WBZ-TV’s Joe Giza.

Typically, this would be a trivial, largely insignificant development. In this case, while one could still argue it doesn’t carry much weight, it carries a bit more because of the murky history between Tatum and Kerr.

This isn’t the first time Kerr has “snubbed” Tatum. He, of course, benched him during much of Team USA’s gold medal run in Paris this summer.

Kerr has said that he doesn’t regret the decision. Tatum said it wasn’t on his mind when the Celtics and Warriors met back in November.

While it’s largely in the past, it appears there may still be a bit of tension between the two.
